What types of spaces can I rent at the Asylum CoLab?
We offer classrooms, a conference room, a podcast studio, and a large general assembly room. These spaces work for corporate offsites, private workshops, rehearsals, auditions, meetings, and creative projects.
How many people can your rooms hold?
Room capacities range from small-team breakouts and podcast sessions all the way up to larger gatherings in the General Assembly Room. If you share your group size and goals, we’ll recommend the best-fit space.
How do I book a room?
Submit a request through our Contact & Booking Form. Our team will confirm availability, pricing, and setup needs.
Do you offer hourly, half-day, or full-day rentals?
Yes. Most spaces are available in flexible blocks, including hourly rentals for rehearsals and podcast sessions, and half-day or full-day rates for corporate groups and classes.
Can I rent space for recurring classes or long-term projects?
Absolutely. Many instructors and creative teams use Asylum CoLab as a long-term home. Tell us your schedule, and we can propose a recurring rental arrangement.
Are there discounted rates for community groups or educational programs?
Yes. We offer community and educational rates for qualifying organizations. Contact us for more informtion.
Do you offer corporate packages?
We do. Corporate groups can reserve rooms for team offsites, trainings, brainstorming days, and private workshops. Explore our rentals or check out Asylum Team Building for facilitated experiences.
What furniture and equipment come with the space?
Classrooms include tables, chairs, whiteboards, and basic AV on request. The General Assembly Room can support presentations, meetings, and flexible setups. Let us know what you need so we can prepare the layout in advance.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes! Outside food and beverages are welcome. If you’re working with a caterer or planning something special, just mention it in your booking request so we can help coordinate.
Do you provide tech support or onsite assistance?
We have staff available during your rental window to help you settle in and troubleshoot basic needs. For specialized AV setups, notify us ahead of time so we can prepare or recommend alternatives.
Is the building wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our entrances, hallways, and main rooms are ADA-friendly. If your event requires specific accommodations, our team is happy to help.
Where can my guests park?
Nearby garages, including the North Station Garage, offer convenient parking. The Haymarket Garage offers $3 validation and is a 7-minute walk from the CoLab.
Can I host a private show or performance here?
Yes. We welcome showcases, private performances, and creative events. If you’re producing your own show, visit our shows page.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations and rescheduling depend on notice and the size of your booking. When you submit an inquiry, we’ll share the current policy in writing.
